Doctrinal Statement
The Bible is the inspired, divinely preserved Word of God; the supreme and final authority for all faith and life; without error in its original writings in doctrine, historical, and scientific fact; and that all true knowledge is consistent with its revelation.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and knowing Him truly is the foundation of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, wholly God and wholly man, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His bodily return in power and glory.
"Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart." 2 Corinthians 4:1

I am James McDermott. My wife Cindy and I have been blessed by God with 13 children. We also homeschool and above all, we are Christians. Thank you for stopping by and welcoming John home on our blog. It has been a long year. I think that last week when he was in the states and we couldn't see him was the worst! But now he's home so all is well :-)
